Personalised Wedding Ceremonies
Your wedding day is one of the most significant moments of your life. It deserves a ceremony that's as unique and special as your love story.
As your independent celebrant, I'll create a wedding ceremony that truly reflects who you are as a couple – not a generic script, but words and moments crafted specifically for you.
Your Ceremony, Your Way
A Ceremony Without Limits
Here's the beautiful thing about working with an independent celebrant: you have complete freedom.
Want to get married at sunset on a beach? In your favourite garden? At a converted barn or manor house? We can do that. Want to include your dog as ring bearer? Mix cultural traditions? Have readings from your favourite books rather than traditional poems? Include a gin tasting ritual? (I'm particularly keen on that one!) We can absolutely do all of that too.
You're not restricted by time limits, traditional scripts, religious requirements, or venue rules. This is your celebration, shaped entirely by what matters to you.

Types of Wedding Ceremonies
-
Traditional & Classic
If you love the elegance of tradition but want it to feel personal rather than generic, we'll create a ceremony that honours timeless elements while celebrating your unique story.
-
Relaxed & Informal
For couples who want something warm and friendly without too much formality, we'll craft a ceremony that feels like a gathering with loved ones – heartfelt, joyful, and genuine.
-
Multicultural Celebrations
Blending traditions from different cultures creates beautiful, meaningful ceremonies. We'll weave together the customs that matter to both of you.
-
LGBTQ+ Weddings
Love is love, and every couple deserves a ceremony that honours their relationship exactly as they choose. I'm proud to create ceremonies for LGBTQ+ couples.
-
Intimate Elopements
Sometimes smaller is more meaningful. Whether it's just the two of you or a handful of your closest people, we'll create an intimate ceremony that's no less special.
-
Second Marriages & Blended Families
When your ceremony includes children from previous relationships or acknowledges the journey you've each taken to find each other, we'll honour all of those elements with sensitivity and joy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we still need to register our marriage legally?
Yes. In England and Wales, the legal registration happens separately from your celebrant ceremony. Most couples do a simple signing with a registrar a few days before or after their celebration with me. It's quick and straightforward, and then your ceremony can be exactly what you want without legal constraints.
How far in advance should we book?
Can we have our ceremony anywhere?
What if we want to surprise each other with our vows?
Can our families and friends be involved?
